THE MOST PRECISE
HANDCRAFTED BUILDS
MASTER BUILDERS AND HAND-CRAFTED CLUBS
Unlike most retailers and golf club fitters, Club Champion builds every club by hand to the tightest tolerances. In fact, our swingweight and loft and lie machines are perfectly synced between our stores and our build shop for a precise build because your game is too important to leave those details to chance.
SOURCING YOUR CLUB COMPONENTS
Weight-sorted components are picked from the thousands of options in the Club Champion build shop.
SST PURE YOUR SHAFTS
If requested, shafts are SST PURED to ensure perfect alignment in the clubhead.
MASTER BUILDERS AT WORK
All components are given to a single builder, who will see the build through from beginning to end. That builder weighs and inspects the components and readies every piece for the hand-building process.
MODIFICATIONS AND GRIPPING
Measuring, cutting, sanding, and other preparations are completed and the grip is installed. The grip will be aligned based on the PURE position and will be uniform across the set.
CALIBRATE TO YOUR SPECIFIC SWINGWEIGHT
Once the grip is installed, our Master Builders then swingweight the club using digital, calibrated machines to match it to the weight specified during the fitting. If weight adjustments are needed, manufacturer weights, lead shaft tip weights, or tungsten powder can be used. The builder will also look at final lie adjustments at this point to ensure there will be no swingweight changes.
FERRULES AND DRYING
A ferrule is then chosen and the set-up is glued using a 24-hour strongest bond epoxy; grips and PURE position are checked once more and the club is placed on a drying rack to set.
BENDING TO YOUR SPECS
Once the epoxy is completely dry, ferrules are turned (sanded) to perfection and the clubs are then bent to precise loft and lie measurements using digital machines that are calibrated to those used in the stores.
CLEAN AND QUALITY CHECK
Clubs are cleaned, shined, and checked against their intended specs by our Quality Control team before being shipped to their new owner.
